Someone once said ‘A bad day of chess, is better than any good day at work’ (or in this case, school!)

We’ll have to ask Liam Molloy, Dylan Hannon, Mason Glynn, Alan Morris, Matthew Toolan, Ciarán Morris, Conor Glynn and Fiachra Costello if this is true.  They recently represented Castlehackett NS at the ChessZ Galway Primary Schools League which tool place on 29 April at Lisheenkyle NS, Oranmore, Co Galway.

A great day was had by all.

And remember, “Chess is played with the mind and not with the hands!” (Renaud & Kahn)
