The inaugural Castlehackett 8k Run will take place next Sunday 07 June 2015 at 12 noon.
The course is in the foothills of the renowned Knockma and caters for seasoned runners and beginners alike. Walkers are also welcome.
There will be also 1k fun run for U12’s at 11am.
Registration is open now! Adults €15, Students €10 and children (U12) €2.
All money raised will help fund a 250 metre athletics track that will be used to hold community and parish events.

There are prizes totalling €650 to be won on the day. The course is AAI approved and will be digitally recorded with all finishers having their times emailed to them post race.
And as always, we here at Castlehackett will be providing light refreshments and the likes for after the race – you know how we like any excuse for a social gathering. This event promises to be the biggest inaugural 8k event in the west of Ireland this year. We like to do things big in our small school 😉
